1770 arriving from Italy, the Savaresse family moved to Paris. It manufactures rectified gut strings by hand, open ropes and begins production of wound strings. The successful business and new ranges using silk and steel, bronze and brass are developed in 1880-1930. Arrival of nylon, Introduction of modern technologies of grinding, sizing, control. global success of  YSAYE strings for bowed instruments developed with the master ARGENTINA worldwide success ropes for acoustic jazz. They become the strings of Django Rheinardt and are used by manufacturers of Selmer Maccaferri and guitars.
In 1950 creating strings Savarez. First revolution in the world of classical guitar. Unmatched accuracy of rectified nylon treble, bass power of spun nylon, the first to offer 3 tensions. Creating strings CORELLI CRYSTAL for bowed instruments in 1980.
1990 after 7 years of research SAVAREZ creates an important revolution by discovering the technology to use the composite fibers for harmonic strings: the ALLIANCE strings. A decisive advantage for guitar, violin, viola , harp, lute, baroque or romantic guitar. Focus tungsten string bass. For many years Savarez is constantly developing its expertise and its techonologies.

ALLIANCE  VIOLIN    Syntet 

The innovation consists in the use of an improved raw material very different from nylon. It has the same density and the same elasticity than the gut strings. Apart from the very new sound quality very close to the sound of gut it does not badly react but resists to very high or very low temperatures. This material is not affected at all by highly moisturised atmosphere and very dry air. The strings last much longer than gut strings (two to five times according to the conditions of use). The sound close to gut is rather warm but rich.

CORELLI  CELLO  Silver-Wolfram/Stål

Corelli steel cello strings are aimed at beginning and intermediate musicians. The A, D, and G strings are wound over a solid steel core. The C string is wound over a rope core.
