It´s all about tone…

I över två årtionden har Thomas V Jones, grundare av TV Jones Inc, vunnit respekt och goda lovord från mängder av gitarrister i världsklass. Hans gitarr-pickuper med den fantastiska tonen är en succé. Genom Tom´s samarbete med gitarristen Brian Setzer, vars gitarrer han arbetat med sedan 1993, utvecklades hans intresse för FilterTron pickupen på Brian´s 1959 Gretsch 6120. 1998 valde Gretsch Tom´s pickuper till sina nya Hot Rod modeller. Tom blev även oberoende konsult för Gretsch Guitar Company avseende  pickup- och gitarr design. TV Jones har blivit ledande inom utveckling och tillverkning av nya gitarr-pickuper av högsta kvalitet. Det är TV Jones ambition att förse varje kund med den bästa gitarr-pickupen marknaden har att erbjuda.

Brian Setzer Signature Pickup     

Efter mer än 20 års samarbete är TV Jones stolta att kunna presentera sin första signatur-pickup åt en artist; TV Jones Brian Setzer signatur-modell. Setzer-pickupen utgår från Brians förkärlek för TV Classic modellen som är den mest mångsidiga och populära humbucker i TV Jones serien. Den härrör från början från Tom´s första dissektion och nära studie av en viss´59 FilterTron från Brians egen gitarr vilket blev referenspunkten för TV Classic pickupen.

Characteristic/Tone:
The TV Jones Brian Setzer Signature Pickup features a proprietary design, and employs special alloy pole screws that highlight the response of the magnet. This design provides more clarity while producing the punchiest low-end mid response in our Classic line.

Likeness/Derived from: 
It’s a bit more over-the-top than our other Classics, but even with its similarities to the Classics, this is a wholly unique design – and a sonic match of the man’s persona and musicianship.

Paul Yandell´s Duo-Tron     

Over 57 years in the making, the Duo-Tron's origins hark directly back to the very first patented humbucking guitar pickup. The unique and proprietary design was was developed with Chet Atkins in mind and by a master fingerpicker who was known as Atkins' "right-hand man," and best friend Paul Yandell. Paul Yandell’s Duo-Tron is a simplified version of Ray Butts' stereo concept laid out in his original patent drawings, (No. 2,892,371, filed Jan. 22, 1957 and awarded June 30, 1959.) TV Jones’ world-class product line and stellar reputation in the industry were the driving force to bring the final version of the Duo-Tron to life. In addition, the Duo-Tron features our new proprietary finish, Industrial Velvet, which is currently exclusive to this pickup until 2015.

Characteristic/Tone:
The Duo-Tron features a proprietary design, and combines both blades and special alloy pole screws that highlight the response of the magnet. The blades provide a bigger note and is well-suited for finger-picking styles. The player won't lose any sensitivity bending the treble strings and will notice a fuller, bolder response that affects both sound - and equally important – feel. The bass side dials in a tone directly reminiscent of Ray’s original Filter’Tron - but with a touch more dynamic attack that is a little more focused and rounded.

pickup to replace the stock single-coil pickup. The 
full, bold sound of a TV Classic in the Tele is 
amazing. A standard "no-ears" option works best.
